施鹏，男，博士，中国科学院昆明动物研究所研究员。中科院昆明进化与遗传国家重点实验室PI，进化和功能基因组学科组负责人。2008年入选中科院“百人计划”，现任：中国遗传学会动物遗传专业委员会委员。长期从事进化基因组学和功能基因组学研究，目前已经分别在《Trends in Genetics》、《PNAS》、《Genome Research》《Mol. Biol. Evol》、《J.Mol.Evol》、《Genomics》等国内、外重要学术杂志上发表20余篇论文。发表的论文被《Nature》、《Nature Review Neuroscience》、《Nature Review Genetics》、《PNAS》、等国、内外著名刊物上的论文引用400多次。先后多次受邀为国内、外10多个SCI著名杂志审稿，还受到邀请分别为两部国外书籍写特邀综述文章。

研究兴趣：

本研究室的研究兴趣集中在以下两个主要问题：

 1 ）动物如何通过感觉系统的整合来适应它们所处的环境？ 2 ）如何通过自然选择的理论来探讨基因型与表型的关系？本实验室将结合实验的和计算的方法来分析了大规模基因组数据并阐明这些问题。
